Early morning basketball is how we roll with my family as we continue another episode during my Missouri family reunion.
As I’m driving to the church house to start playing, I was visualizing myself in how I wanted the game to go.
Stephen Covey calls it, “Begin with the end in mind” when we visualize what it looks like after putting the future into the present.
What does this look like?
Before we even do something, we visualize how it will go and what results I want to see.
This tool is a POWERFUL strategy to increase performance.
It’s easy to implement in sports, where every great athlete has used this tool to visualize the outcome they desire.
I’m here to tell you that no matter what area of your life that you’re struggling in, you can visualize the NRA’s (Necessary Required Actions).
I visualize the way that I raise my boys and treat my family, and have vision of what I want to create, all while maintaining a lifestyle of putting faith and family FIRST.
How else can I create what I was born to do?
Have you taken time to describe the absolute vision that you want in your life?
I want to grow and expand eternally, as I’ve stated in Principle #7 in my book, Winning After the Game.
What I’ve found to be true is that if you’re not on the same page with those that interact with you in your life, none of it matters.
Don’t let life pass you by; get clear about what you want and the tools of visualization that will help you get what you desire.
Ask yourself:
* Do I have a vision of what I want to create?
* What does this desire to create look like?
* What do I need to do in order to create the life that I desire?
You will see things come to pass and fruition if you clearly visualize what it is that you have in mind so that the results are exactly what you want.
