As you well know by now, I’ve been training for Kokoro 44  coming up this September in 2016.

Well, I overtrained, and got injured. I kept pushing and pushing and pushing, and the consequence of me running too much has made my leg result in a lot of pain.

So, I told my trainer and he recommended a doctor that specialized in sport injuries.

I took the necessary steps in moving forward by looking for solutions instead of asking Why Me?

These injuries have become powerful lessons, and I VALUE the amount of work that I have invested within myself.

When powerful people get injured or encounter setbacks, they find a way to work around it and continue to push forward, even if it means that the circumstances are no longer ideal.

The victim inside is ignored because I’m too busy doing everything in my power to get better.

When the injury comes, simply ask, “What do I want?”

Focus on the end result, which may require course correction on your part, but it all leads back to knowing what it is that you want, why you want it, when the deadline may be and then how you’re going to execute on it.

It is then that the injury becomes a gift because there is a lesson to be learned in creating more expansion within your life for having to shift the direction it takes to get to your end result.

Ask yourself:

* What have injuries done to me, whether they were physical or mental?

* What is the ultimate result that I want to achieve once I know what it is that I want?

* What are the divine gifts that have come into my life after facing injuries?

When the injuries come (not if) and you take a master hit, don’t turn into a victim. Ask power-filled questions that will allow you to face the injuries that you are physically or spiritually experiencing  as lessons to act powerfully and make decisions on the destiny that has been forged for me.
