Secret Program I Used to Become Wealthy…

Posted on 04. Nov, 2009 by in Prosperity

Which Way Are You Headed?

Do you want to be a millionaire? If your answer is NO then you’ll never be one.

If your answer is NO then you might have some twisted views about money.

If your answer is NO then you might have some twisted views about contribution. (How can you contribute with an empty pocket?)

If your answer is NO then you might not believe it’s possible. (If you don’t believe it’s possible…then it’s not possible.)

If your answer is NO then that’s OK too. I didn’t always want to be a millionaire. But this subject is for another time.

Bottom line is this…whatever your intention is…that is what you’re going to get.

“I just want to make enough money to get by.” or “I don’t need to live an extravagant life.” or “Rich people are just greedy.” or “I just need enough money to pay the bills.”

If these are things you say then THAT’S ALL YOU’RE GOING TO GET! You’re going to get just ‘enough to get by’ or just enough ‘to NOT have a nice lifestyle’ or just ‘enough to pay the bills.’

And if you think rich, wealthy and successful people are greedy…you’ll never be rich because subconsciously humans almost always do things that align with their beliefs. And if for some reason you go against your beliefs you feel guilt, shame, embarrassment, a drop in your self esteem etc.

If you’re intention is to become wealthy then you can. If your intention is to be a CONTRIBUTOR then you’ll realize that WEALTH is imminent and more importantly, WEALTH is good because it is a byproduct of serving others effectively.

Bill Gates has provided a valuable service and value for the world. He is rich because of it. The Creators of everything we have today are rich because they have:

  1. Added value to people’s lives
  2. Solved problems for people
  3. Found a massive need for others and fulfilled it

Have you trained your hands to work and to give or to be lazy and to take?

It’s really that simple. If you aren’t providing a valuable service for more people then you aren’t going to be rich. If you aren’t solving problems for people you are’t going to be successful.

If you aren’t contributing to the welfare of mankind…yep, you got it…you won’t be massively wealthy.

If you want the real skinny on how to effectively do the three things I listed above and become wealthy then here it is…

It’s NOT a computer program, a planner, an auto-responder campaign, a seminar, Dreamweaver, Adobe, Outlook or some special laptop or anything else.

You ready…

It’s called EXECUTION, the Art of Getting Things Done.

There are two types of people out there:

  1. Those who DO
  2. Those who do NOT

Most people don’t know how to get things done today. They jump from task to task, from activity to activity and so forth. It’s called DISTRACTION.

Is your day like this everyday? Are you distracted easily?

Example: John starts out his day with a study session and then checks his email. He sees an email about something cool and spends another 30 minutes on that particular email. Then he checks his Facebook and then he is off to work. Then he checks his text messages every 10 minutes and then watches a cool video on Youtube. Don’t forget about calling people back and returning messages. Then there’s the 60 minute lunch talking about sports, gossip etc. Yes, the onslaught of DISTRACTION strikes another victim.

John will live way below his potential for the rest of his life until he experiences that Foundational Shift or Transformation in his thinking and in his heart.

Look, if you want to become a millionaire, or a success story or an Influencer or an Inspirer, you MUST learn how to become a doer. If you want to experience joy in greater abundance you must become  doer. Stop thinking about doing things and DO THEM. Pretty simple right?

We all have these things called habits. Habitual behaviors is an even better way to say it.

Successful people have successful habitual behaviors of GETTING THINGS DONE.

Unsuccessful people have successful habitual behaviors of NOT GETTING THINGS DONE. (making excuses, getting easily distracted, being scared of failure, scared of what other people think, giving reasons)

How do you develop these habits of becoming a DO-ER?

This will be one of the most simple things you do that will bring about MASSIVE results. “By small and simple things great things are brought to pass.”

Do NOT read further unless you are willing to take action.

This is what my list looked like when I was BROKE! Does your list look like this?

Here’s the PROGRAM that I use today to become rich…(again it’s not a Franklin planner or outlook or some program out there, or some software etc.)

It’s called ‘to-DO’ list. Sorry if I let you down. Big shock right? Word pad, word doc or good ole fashioned piece of paper and pen.

Before you lay down tonight for bed write down 4-6 things that MUST be done the following day and that you will DO. Each of these items should be in line with your goals, your dreams and your aspirations.

As you lay down to rest and pray, ask God to help you to know how to get these things done. Ask Him to give you strength and courage to work hard and to get these things done. These 4-6 items will be lodged in your subconscious mind.

As you rise in the morning you already know what you are going to DO for the day. You already have direction for the day and DO NOT LET anything stop you. I promise if you’ll do this every day for the next 30 days you will develop the habitual behaviors necessary to creating, attracting and finding success.

Your list might look something like:

  • Read a chapter from a specific book
  • Write a press release
  • Clean my room, bathroom
  • Exercise 30 mins
  • Finish the sales letter for the book
  • Start my blog
  • Prepare the slide presentation for upcoming event

The onslaught of DISTRACTIONS is too much for anyone to handle. Rich, successful, happy and wealthy people all have distractions. They just don’t get DISTRACTED.

When you make your list and begin to DO it NO MATTER WHAT you’ll develop HABITUAL BEHAVIORS and this is where your life will change.  Do this for 30 days. Remember, successful people have success habits. Unsuccessful people have unsuccessful habits.

Become a Doer TODAY!

Success and prosperity are NEVER and I mean NEVER by accident. They are predictable outcomes as a result of DOING.

If you are unable to do something as simple as this….learn to enjoy your life right now because that is as good as it is going to get.

“Be a DOER of the word…not a hearer only.”  James 1:22

To your success….

Setema

P.S.S. If you do this and experience the change in your life (which I know you will) comment below so you can help others to begin becoming a DOER.

P.S.S.S. Do not be discouraged on your first day or second day if you suck at this. You’re breaking old entrenched habits and forming new empowering habits. Almost everyone sucks at it…I did. Do it.

P.S.S.S.S. What do you want your life to look like down the road in 6 months? In 1 year? Doing what you are doing now will you ever get there? Make the change TODAY!

That’s funny that you said this…you know, about the to-do list…I don’t do 1 everyday, but when I know that there are things that need to get done, in my mind, I look at the task and tell myself, “self, this is what needs to be done today, and this is where we’ll start…” but, I have issues, most people call it MULTI-TASKING…I like to think that I am the master of multi-tasking, but when I look back, all I’ve done, is start 1 project, and then off to the next…start another project…and then off to the next…I look back and see that I have tons of unfinished tasks…BUT TODAY…TODAY WAS DIFFERENT. Today, I told myself that I would just do this until it is done, and then move on to the next task…by the end of the day…there was only one task that I didn’t complete…and you know what?!? I’M OK WITH THAT!!! I think baby steps are waaaayyyyy better than no steps…:)

Your points are right on here. Whenever I have made a task list the day before I would get so much more productive tasks down compared to when I wouldn’t have a list but “know” what I need to get done.

I need to get back in the habit of making a list. I almost said I would start tomorrow, but decided to pause while writing this post and make my list, now. My list is done and it is time to EXECUTE.

Just do it. The greatest people I know are doers no matter if they don’t feel good, they’re tired, etc. I have been thinking about this over and over in my mind the last two weeks and what do you know? A very timely reinforcement. Thank you Setema. You are doing great things. I am working on changing habits I’ve fallen into recently and will get back to being a doer all the time, not just when there’s a deadline.

Great Stuff. We must have a filter to stop chasing every new shiny thing. There are so many shiny things that we will just chase and never do anything.

Lists and Getting Things Done. Seeing the Bigger Picture yet focusing on the task at hand or the “list”. I work for a very successful business man and he does these exact things DAILY. Every. Single. Day. Excellent tips and advice.
