2-why you are a good candidate for the program

3-what you plan on doing with the program when you finish.

The Program is called Goal Setting Goal Getting-Creating the Life You Truly Want and Love

I will choose the two winners at 11:27 PM December 31, 2009 and then email them and everyone the following morning to let you all know who won the two $1997 scholarships.

You only get one shot at this thing we call LIFE so you might as well play all out and ball out!

Setema Gali

P.S. What would your life look like if you knew how to set and get your goals 87% of the time? Seriously, what would your life look like in 2010 if you could accomplish what you set out to do?

How much more time would you have?

How much more meaningful would your relationships be?

How much weight would you lose?

What more would you do?

Where would you travel?

P.S.S. Answer the questions and qualify yourself to work with me one on one in my course. You deserve it my friend!

    Setema,

I am 38 years old. Only recently did it dawn on me that the years are starting to slip by at what seems like a faster rate. I am not an unhappy person, but I’m not satisfied with where I am in my life. I have bounced from job to job, from relationship to relationship and rarely set a goal or had a plan of action. As a result, I am hungry to change my way of living now and begin to push myself to be my best and live a life that is enriching in every way. I owe that to myself and to all those who love me.

I was introduced to your writing and videos about a month ago. I have had some time to reflect on your teachings and for the first time have really been honest with myself about who I am , where I am and where I want to be.

I like the business I am in, but I don’t love it. I love my girlfriend, but I don’t give her my all. I love my family, but I don’t spend the time with them that I should. I love my friends, but I don’t tell them that enough.

I make enough money to survive, but not enough to really live, to experience all the world has to offer. I don’t make enough to make a difference in the lives of people I love, or people who really need help.

I don’t always eat as well as I should. I could be working out a little harder.

    My life needs a sharpening.

I have learned that now is the time. I have spent plenty of time procrastinating and making excuses and that has gotten me right where I am.

I am writing today and asking for help because I am determined to live a life of purpose, of choice, of freedom and health.

I want to make a difference in my time on this Earth. For myself, for my family, for my friends and for people I haven’t even met yet.

I may achieve all I dream of, or I may not. But I will not be afraid anymore. I will not be out worked.

Thankyou, Setema, for all you have given.

website is not complete—still being worked on but it gives an idea of what I’m involved with.
I realy enjoyed the video (short and sweet). I watched it several times. I get so many emails telling me why I should sign up for their life changing programs. I am ,however reading some books and introducing myself to a different (changed) way of thinking. I think the change that you spoke of has to start there. Question No. 1: The video already helped me by prompting me to replace a bad habit with a good habit and that will be actively making a change. Question No. 2: Everything happens for a reason—I opened this email and watched the video because I was led to do so. Something good will be the result. Question No. 3: As you can see from the unfinished website, I am a people person. My programs are set up to help children and adults in the area of health, wealth and relationships. My partner and I are scheduling interactive sessions with parents and students through a program called Ready, Set, Gold. This information would be invaluable as a way to empower these families to make better decisions for improving their lives.

    What did I learn?
That one must take ownership of an action to improve their life and set goals to gage progress.

Why am I a good candidate for the program?
My time has come. I’m motivated, have specific goals I’m working towards, have sought out and already use some of the philosophies you teach and want to learn more of them.

What do I plan on doing with the program when I’m finished?
Using those skills to add to my already strong set of skills to succeed faster.

I believe in asking for what I want and I’m asking for you to pick me. You will not be disappointed at the progress I make in the next 3 months.

    Setema,

My biggest problem with goal setting is following through. I have set physical goals for the past 3 years. Every year I start and stop for a variety of reasons. I have set financial goals over and over again but seem to never have the conviction to follow through. I am at a point where I need help. Setting goals that I can reach as well as staying the coarse in order to better my life and the life of my family by reaching though’s goals. I will be 100% committed if given the chance.

    Thank you.

    Hey Setema,
I love the phrase Reasons or Results. Through my rise and fall in the real-estate/mortgage industry – I went from money never being an issue to money being the primary issue. And for the past 3 years I have been giving myself and my family reasons why I haven’t been able to climb out of my financial collapse. I have wasted many days (too numerous to count) in being depressed and angry at everything around me. I am at a critical point in my life where I could fall into complete chaos and ruin or emerge victorious. There is no pride left (which is a good thing) and what I am doing now is not accomplishing anything both – financially and personally. It is time for me to get re-focused and re-engaged in life and not waste another day giving reasons why I cannot succeed. I need to make a change and I am hoping to make that change with your help! With that, comes commitment on my part(not 99.9% but 100%) and that is what you’ll have from me. And when this chapter has been written in my book – I plan on continually using, expanding and sharing the lessons I have learned. I appreciate the opportunity and look forward in (hopefully) working with you.

Setema, you may not realize this but timing is many times perfect for a lot of things in my life. God really knows me well and knows what I need and when I need it. At the time you sent the first email today, I just read the first couple of lines as I looked across my desk to see the reminder that I am stuck in a rut professionally. I read the first couple of lines and though “he really knows when to send these emails doesn’t he?” Then remembered that “The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way.” Shortly thereafter I got your next email. Today has been a very busy day and I had work piled up from Christmas and so on, I think it best not to bore you with all my work details, I could go on for days. So, when I could no longer hold out I ended up watching your video on my phone. I was reminded of what I learned as I was going through basic training in the Army (that you have to break out of the mold if you are going to go anywhere).

Setema, I have been lulled to sleep by an employer who barely exists and people who just go to work do a job and go home, nothing more. I don’t want to live my life to work for a company that is going nowhere, I want to live my life to bring glory to the Lord Jesus Christ. I spend most of my time at work and then I am very actively involved in the ministry outside of work. My wife and 3 children are very excited to be along with me in this crazy journey but I would like it to be spending more time doing what God wants not just focusing on how I am going to pay the bills.

I really appreciate your offer for the scholarship and I am very interested. Your video has been a real encouragement to me. In fact, I even came home and ran a mile and a half after a very long day at work mostly due to your video. I was reminded that thinking about the idea that I need to do something can last for years and the next thing I know, I waste years making little or no impact on the world.

I am the candidate for your training videos because I WILL use the training to be a true success. I have done a lot of thinking while still being very busy and have somewhat drawn out a rough plan for the next 10 years of my life. For 2010, I plan to get my business rolling enough by June to leave my job. I will most likely stay there for a couple months so that I can train a replacement for myself then I plan to be making as many of my family, friends and business associates as successful as I possibly can. I could spend the rest of my life making people successful in the ministry and financial realm and that would be my joy. That would be loving my life. I see my self spending the next 4 years of my life starting Churches across the nation and then the following 5 years traveling to help our missionaries in their works around the world.

Those are goals that will take a lot of dedication and specific short term plans that work. I believe that we are on the same page on a lot of things but you have much more experience in the business world than I do. I need to draw from the experience of successful people in order to reach my goals and what I have seen from you so far has impressed me much. I look forward to working with you and making both of us successful.

Thank you for taking the time to help others,
    Aaron

    1) What did I learn from your video? A person can accomplish what he or she truly wants to do
with the proper atmosphere and your mentoring. To accomplish your goals you need to break
your habits. You need to determine your outcome (your end result) and make a change…TODAY!!!
    2) Why am I a good candidate for the program? At 59 years old when people are looking to retire,
I am looking at a second life. A lot has happened to me but I feel that there is always a purpose
for it. My finances in particular would not let me purchase your program. I wished for a
scholarship and you presented it. I have spent all my money on real estate investing courses.
    3) What am I planning on doing with the program on completion? I plan to implement it immediately. In fact I think your course will ask for implementation during the course. I know
for myself that the mentoring is what I need for a jump start. Seriously, I am at the bottom of
the barrel and need your help.
Ans Setema the one thing I am doing today is implementing this reply for a better life: for my finances, for my health, for my relationship, because change starts with ME… With much aloha

    Hello Setema,
I must make this first post very short as I only have a few minutes before the deadline. I will post more in a moment.
I learned mostly that we are all human and even if we seem to fall short of our goals if we persist we will accomplish them.

I am a good candidate because when I do set a goal I stick with it as you can see by the videos about my quitting smoking.

I will use what I learn to influence as many people as I can for the rest of my life.
nothing fancy pull up all my videos and look for the first about 20 yr 3 pack a day smoker quits cold turkey

    Thanks
    Jason Perry
    P.S.
I just opened the email with the offer at 11:14

I love my life! However I can definitely say it’s not the life I have envisioned for myself. Five minutes ago I just learned that I have produced far more ‘Reasons’ than ‘Results’. I can not describe the sickly feeling in my stomach of failure. It is a somber realization that my habits have caused problems in every aspect of my life and have held me back from my dreams. Through my life’s experience goals are exciting and powerful then the gravity of life creeps in and slowly goals become just wishful thoughts. However I know that this is not true. I have seen others loose weight and become physically active, financially free and have great relationships with their wife/husband.

I love to work just as much as I love my life and can’t stand to waste any of it. I am missing key parts to the puzzle of success and I believe Setema you have them! I have spent years researching online, studying at the library and reprogramming faults learned in order to gaining insight and knowledge to success to help myself and my family. I am ready to reach new heights and have been ready for some time. Please teach me more.

Just as I was helped I too want to help others. I want to see my family and friends succeed and find their dreams fulfilled. As my mum would say “I will put my money where my mouth is” and even pay from my pocket for another student’s scholarship to help them! Because I have been given much I too must give.

    Hello brother!
I have learned that to better your life you have to change what you are doing now! Substitute bad habits with good ones in every aspects of your life. I have tried so many different ways and nothing has worked for me. But now my son has just arrived and I need to really make something happen. I have been going back to school to be a pharmacist and so far it is going very well. I just have a year or two then I can apply for pharmacy school. I am barely getting by with what I make at my job to support my family and try to pay for school. I have an ok job but I want something better which is why I am going to school. I have watched a lot of your videos and they have inspired me alot. I really would love to receive this scholarship so I can continue with school and better my life for my family, friends, and for myself. I also want to be able to help others but I don’t make enough money to be able to do that. I want a better life, a life that I get to spend more time with my family and enjoy all that life has to offer. Thank you and happy holidays my brother!

    Hi Setema.

You are inspiring and awesome! Your testimony of the things you’ve experienced and accomplished are worth a thousand words and inspiring me to make that change.

The many things I learned from your message is: 1.)what am I doing to change things for the better in my life instead of complacently floating and letting others determine my destiny; 2.)reasons or results–stop making excuses and work towards results; 3.) learn good and successful habits instead of bad habits that will deter my vision from my goals; and last start TODAY to change things.

I’ve been wanting a new start on life and this is the push I’ve finally needed to get moving. My fears have held me back long enough and I want to start being the Creator I am destined to be by strengthening relationships with the Lord and my family.

I plan to inspire others the way you’ve inspired me with wonderful and positive reinforcements that everyone needs daily. I plan on using my talents, education and other gifts I’ve been blessed with to help another. When much is given, much is expected…”When you lose yourself in the work, you find yourself.” AND “through small and simple things, great things shall come to pass!”

    Setema,
You are an amazing person, and I really appreciate all of the help that you have given me already.

The main thing that I learned from your video is that I definitely need to make changes in my life. This past year has been a tough one for me and my family. Because of my health habits I have missed a lot of work due to illness. Then towards the end of the year, my transplanted kidney that I received from a friend three years ago started to reject. I have been in and out of the hospital for about three weeks now. Anyway, because of all the time I took off earlier in the year, I am in jeapordy of losing my job if I cannot return soon.

Sorry, I accidentely submitted before I was done.

This has of course put a strain on our finances and also on my relationship with my wonderful wife.

I feel that I am a good candidate for this program because I am willing to learn all that I can to make a better life for my family and myself. I will use all of the wisdom that I gain to help others that I know that also need help in these areas.

Again I appreciate all that you do to help others and hope that someday I can be in the same position. I wish you and your family a happy and prosperous new year.

    Hey Setema,

Thanks uso for giving us this opportunity and a chance to change our lives! With this new year coming up, one of my goals for 2010 is to break out of this shell that I’m in and start taking risks in life! I’m reminded of that blog “Feeling Like A Failure” because soo many times I’ve failed in life simply because I too was like the Centurions and did not take much risks and chances. I want to break this habit and start getting ‘Results’ rather then giving ‘Reasons’.

Throughout the course of following your blogs and watching this video I have learned so much on ways to better my life and to keep a positive attitude ALWAYS! With this specific video a couple of things stick out to me, the first being, RESULTS or REASONS. “Our lives are determined by the choices we make” is so true. Am I giving ‘Reason’ to why I can’t get ‘Results’? I need to stop making excuses or stop blaming others and start looking within myself and take ACTION.

Second, I need to start changing my habits. I need and want to break those bad habits and start picking up successful habits. I have actually recently been picking up good habits that I’ve learned from you such as making a “To Do List”. Another habit has been cutting out fast food and soda and substituting that with cooking at home (healthy foods such as chicken, potatoes, etc.) and drinking water. These are not much, but they have brought upon RESULTS in a positive way in my life.

And lastly, I need to start this change of lifestyle NOW meaning TODAY at this very moment! Over and over again I always say “I’ll start Monday” whatever it may be, because Monday is at the beginning of the week. But than Monday comes around and I’m making reasons and excuses, and for some reason Tuesday just seems like the most odd day out of the week to start whatever it is I was suppose to start so I put it off for next Monday. I need to take ACTION now!!

I’m inspired to head into this upcoming year a changed man with a better life! One of my greatest assets is that I’m coachable and teachable! I’m willing to learn and expand my knowledge on ways to better my life as well as others. I’m willing and inspired to start taking risks and chances!!

For so long I’ve been okay with the lifestyle of being able to just ‘get by’ because my goals were set towards mediocrity. Being happily married and with the addition to our newborn son, spending quality time 24/7 is something both me and my wife strive for! Having a career in which I can spend all the time in the world with my family and still be successful in life is a great milestone to reach in life! Being capable of helping out family and friends whether it be financially, physically, spiritually, has always been something I have always wanted to do. And I think that this is what it’s all about. Helping others to better their lives! I wish all a Happy Holiday!

    Hello Setema

I want to be a successful person that brings on results. I want to know from early on in my life how to accomplish and get what i want. To be able to achieve the goals that will help and benefit me and the people surrounding me. I am about to officially i guess you could say start my life journey with going to college. I am very excited for this big step in my life. I want to receive the exemplary achievment award from Westminster which is a $100,000 scholarship. This school is my top choice. The application is due Feb 12. So I have to get started on it. And bring on results that will help me build my resume even more. I will do whatever is possible to be able to go to that school. With that ofcourse will require goals with results. Not reasons. From saving money to applying to scholarships and such. At times I admit, I find myself giving reasons. I realize that I need to work on accomplishing my goals. some goals that i keep setting but end up giving reasons for is exercising; to be a happier and healthier person. I want to get results this year for that. I feel that I would be a fantastic candidate for this program because I am unique, motivated, focused, and a hardworker .Thats wants to know how to be that like even more. That wants to achieve what I have always dreamed of in life. I don’t want my dreams to turn into simply wishful thinking, But reality. I plan on accomplishing my goals. To stay motivated and pumped through out the whole journey, where ever it may take me. To never give up, and if i find myself straggling behind, to push even harder.

    Thanks for your time

    Chelsea

Hey Setema! Its has been very inspiring to listen and watch the video’s that you have sent me. I have asked myself these questions over and over and over again, and yet I still look at how I am stuck in the same place is what it feel’s like. I know what I learned in the past five minutes in the video, but I still watched it over and over and over. Wondering on what I am going to say, then I thought it is not what I am going to say but what am I gonna do. You are right REASONS OR RESULTS!In the past I found myself giving reasons instead of taking action to produce my result.Well my other reason is I haven’t found a mentor I could trust, due to a very bad experience. Setema, I know what you are giving to us is a great opportunity and is full of your heart and love. I know you wouldn’t lead people astray,so you of course you have my full attention. I have been waiting for some kind of blessing like this to come into my life or at this time, what ever we want to call it. I know I would be a great candidate because I have will and desire to change. Just needed to have the right person show me. I won’t let you down and especially myself and my family! That is where my main motivation is packed and coming from that. Setema, when I know these changes take place,I know it would not be just of me to keep this to myself. I know you and Heavenly father would have me share this to one and all of who is willing to listen and partake of it. I am only willing to do this because I know it will affect not only me but everyone around me. All I know is that I am willing to set my goals the right way and follow a plan to accomplish my goals. I would need to change my job. That indeed will give me a drastic result,in which I am working on as I write this to you. I have pondered, fasted, and prayed about what I was going to write you and I feel I have done said everything that I needed to write. I just wanted to thank you for the opportunity you have at least given me to response and trying to win this scholarship!

    Much Luv!

    Reid Te’o!

Good evening Setema! I am have been pacing about this for the past few days. I don’t know where to start I guess, I have I pondered, fasted, and prayed with all my heart to figure out what to say and tell you why I am your best candidate. I know that I have had bad experience’s in the past with other people. I have waited for a long time for something to come in to my life to help me out in changing my life for the better. I want to take control of my life and be my own boss. Yes that ‘s right Setema me the boss of my own destiny, I just didn’t have the right tools and people that I needed to surround myself with. I have made my bosses that I have worked for very rich aor made them a very large sum of money. One owner I know at least a couple million and the other’s not too far behind that number. I know that every time I have asked them for advice, a few pointers, I would get blown off or just flat out ignore. They didn’t want to share anything with why they became successful. Setema I am gonna run with this and share this with everyone that is willing to listen and partake of this wonderful fruit. I know you would want me to do that. I am here now with you at this time to show not talk only. Just like you said REASON or RESULT! I need this no doubt in my mind I will get this done, why! You Setema! I did learn one thing and that’s follow the right leader. I have made a drastic change in my life in taking one step closer into creating a new habit and to produce a result that I feel will help me. A new job so I can spend more time with my family.I need to set my goals the right way and have a strong, supportive, and trustworthy mentor. I know that is you.I know you would lead me astray Setema, refering back to my bad past experience’s. Setema I want to thank you for the opportunity in trying to gain something of great value. Thanks Reid Te’o!
