The Whole Conspiracy Is Like the Gulf Oil Spill and It's Time To Clean It Up...and Avoid It Period!

….this is going to be short but life-changing and very powerful for you.

There is a conspiracy out there. You simply aren’t aware of it. This conspiracy is the most dangerous type of conspiracy because they’re so subtle…so in your face and you have no idea how destructive it is in your life right now.

This is the conspiracy…

To fill your brain, your mind and your life with sewage, crap, garbage and every negative piece of media available.

How’s this for proof…I’m sitting here with some friends masterminding a new business platform and one of the partners says “I can’t stand to read Glenn Beck’s emails.”

“Why?”

“Because it is so scary thinking about what is happening with the economy.”

After some discussion I cracked my laptop open and began writing. This partner is still talking about how scary the world is and all the scary things that are going to happen and blah blah blah…

If you are a person who watches CNN regularly and religiously you are a person who has bought the lies and the conspiracy. (CNN I heard stands for Constant Negative News)

I mean how much garbage can you upload into your life everyday until your paradigm, your mindset and your belief system says “it’s a scary world out there” and “there is nothing good about life?”

It’s for this very reason that I do NOT watch the news or very much TV (unless it’s planned with my family or something very purposeful-education, inspiration or some sport highlights)

If you are going to be happy in this world…

If you are going to find joy in life…

If you are going to be productive and create value for people…

If you are going to be a great business owner…

If you are going to create the life you want and love…

You’re going to need to avoid the crap on T.V., radio and internet. Listening to the news, watching CNN and believing half the hype out there is like not brushing your teeth and showering for 2 weeks, wearing the same clothes and underwear and then wondering why no one wants to hang out with you and trying to clean yourself with a spray of Lysol. You’ll flat out STINK!

The mass media is NOT your friend. I repeat…the mass media is NOT your friend.

The whole objective of the media is to grab your attention, keep your attention, market and advertise to you and get your money.

They don’t care about your well being like you think they do.

Glenn Beck and every other show host have paychecks because they have millions of viewers on their shows. All these show hosts have the same boss…the people who give them money to advertise on their shows channel because they have hundreds of thousands of eyes…wait…millions and millions of people who watch and listen to their shows.

These shows do a phenomenal job of marketing and advertising. They tell crazy stories (some true and some no where near true), the give strong opinions on it and allow people to comment, email and pass on the fear.

Now not all shows are bad…there are great shows out there that inspire, uplift and educate. I am grateful for these shows.

For the most part the media exists to sell you fear, paranoia, negativity and their personal agenda (which is NOT really about your happiness.)

You cannot afford to let the negativity of the media and infiltrate the protective walls of your life. Once your life is infiltrated the negativity will transfer into how you interact with people and with your customers and clients and families and neighbors and well, you know how the rest goes.

The “oil” of negativity will kill your business, your dreams, your happiness and your hope. Kill the “oil.”

Here’s my 10 Instant Things you can do to beat the “Constant Negative News” Conspiracy

1. Stop watching and listening to the crap

2. Begin celebrating your victories and celebrating them daily with loved ones

3. Change your language to speak encouraging, conscious and powerful positive words

4. Read my blog and send your friends to read my blog

5. Listen to powerful audios and watch powerful media

6. Read powerful books

7. Develop a desire to help other people all the time

8. Become an uplifting person in word, thought and deed and do great things for other people

9. Express Gratitude daily for all the good you have in your life

10. Become a Goal Oriented person who lives with purpose, passion and power…your role switches from TAKER to CONTRIBUTOR.

If you focus on the negativity in the world…guess how you’re going to feel everyday about waking up and going to “life?”

Even with the Gulf Spill running the headlines…you cannot afford to let it get you. The negativity of the news is like the oil in the gulf. The difference is…YOU can prevent the spill from happening in your own life by creating your own prosperity paradigm and learning how to be at peace.

Am I saying to turn a blind eye to the evil and negativity in the world?

HELL NO!

Am I saying Glenn Beck is a bad man?

NO!

Am I saying to pretend “all is well in Zion”?

Absolutely NOT!

What am I saying?

Be aware of the crap but don’t watch it. Don’t fill your minds and hearts will porn, or vulgarity or immorality to know how to battle it. You don’t have to watch CNN or FOX News 24/7 to know there are dangers in the world. If you do, your mind will slowly turn into it and the very world you see will be exactly who you are…and what you take into your life becomes who you are!

If watching Glenn Beck puts you in a state of fear and paranoia then stop watching until you understand what you are supposed to do. Watching or listening to Glenn Beck to me moves me to take action for the good in our country and in the world. Watching or listening to Glenn Beck does NOT put me into a state of “the sky is falling.” If it does for you…you must CHANGE your paradigm and increase your knowledge about what the truth really is. Truth is things as they really are and as they really will be. Truth changes everything. And I”m not just talking about 2 + 2 = 4. I’m talking about the real truth of who we are, why we are here and where we are going!

Live the principles of truth, humility, trust in God, faith, patience, vision, etc. and do NOT fill your lives with the crap out there. It will eat you alive and before you know it, you will have been led carefully down to the docks of misery, of shame, of fear and of hell.

I have believed this for the past year and a half or so. Since I have stopped letting negativity in through the media, I have found the World to be such a nicer, better, brighter place.

This has put what I have thought for so long into great words and I am glad I am not the only one who believes this!

Thanks setema- this is very insightful. Your top ten closely matches mine, except number 4 was not as direct. It was more like – be in company with positive, like minded people that I would like to emulate.

Luckily, I’ve been attune to eradicating negative external influences. My head is within my head. Lately I am winning the battles. Slowly, patiently, knowing I have a plan in place. I still want to come see your seminar in salt lake. I’ll try to get Adam and Bianca to attend as well.

I absolutely agree with you about TV and the news. I very rarely watch TV and I don’t have cable. For the most part, I avoid the news other than just keep abreast of world events, but mostly on the internet, where I can skim, pick and choose.

I hate to say this, but I completely disagree with your view on Glenn Beck and also your view on pending doom. I don’t think we can bury our head in the sand. So yes, avoid the crap on TV, but not to the point of avoidance of reality.

Amen Brotha’! I totally agree. Live your life and turn off the T.V. Great advice. Life is so much better when you fill your mind with good, positive thoughts and educate yourself with things that matter. My advice to people that are “stuck in the vortex of the media gloom”… get off the couch and go serve someone else. It’s a cure to a lot of the depression that’s in our lives. I’ve found that my problems are never really that big when I’m anxiously engaged in helping someone. There are so many others out there struggling to just get by. We can be a source of strength.

It does seem like news broadcasts focus primarily on the negative aspects we currently face, but I cannot condone shutting out current events and important issues by turning a complete blind eye. It is important for everyone to understand the issues our world faces, rather than believing the glass is always half full. Rather than shutting the world out, why don’t we take in information from all sides so we can later make an informed decision? Shutting out the negativity of the world does nothing to help prevent the issues from occuring. You’re simply pretending like nothing is wrong. Sure, spread positivity and love – but also spread awareness.

Messages taken out of context can be misleading. The choice between watching porn and not watching it is obvious. I don’t need to watch filth to know that it is filth. The choice between watching CNN and being aware of it…obvious. Education is powerful! What you are getting educated on and how you are getting educated is just as powerful. I am not sure what you disagree about Glenn Beck…but do you think Glenn Beck would survive if he went completely report all the good news? Seriously? How much advertising does Glenn Beck get if he stops doing politics, world gloom and doom and goes straight love and light?
He’d probably still get $ for advertising but not what he has now. I believe Glenn Beck does an incredible job of MARKETING! Marketing is POWER!

I’m not sure where I ever said “Bury your head in the sand.” But the interpretation of the post REVEALS what people believe about “reality.” Educate yourself properly and learn how to build fortifications and become incredibly enlightened.

I agree that 99% of the garbage in the news, media and just crap TV in general is worthless and should be avoided… BUT, I’m Going to have to disagree with you and agree with Luhi when it comes to Glenn Beck…

I have GREAT respect for Glenn Beck and what he is doing to wake up the country to our “aweful situation”. There are groups, even “secret combinations” who are seeking and pushing for the overthrow of our freedoms here in this great country…

The discouragement that was felt by our partner was not a “woe is me there is no good in the world” or “it’s a scary world out there” and “there is nothing good about life?”…

It was frustration at the almost overwhelming task we have ahead of us to fight and root out the “Secret Combinations” that have taken over our government… Just like it was prophesied they would more than 1,600 years ago… Just like the frustration that captain Moroni felt when he rent his coat and wrote the title of liberty on it…

People who don’t actually watch Glenn Beck, and base their opinions of him from what they hear that he is saying… Or hear that he is just trying to scare people, or hear that he is a “fear monger” and only doing it for the ratings, advertising, money etc. are sorely mistaken.

People call him a fear-monger because he is the ONLY one in the media telling the whole story, and exposing these “Secret Combinations” for what they really are, so that then we, as informed citizens can “Awake to a sense of our aweful situation” and do something to stop them…

Was Moroni a Fear Monger? Should he have just focused only on the positive and ignored the aweful things going on around him? Not tried to change them and perhaps more importantly warn us?

Would it have been better for him to have ignored or left out of his translation of Either the parts about the secret combinations that destroyed many entire civilizations so that he did not scare people or discourage them?

I think what he wrote was pretty darn important for our day, right now, everything we are living through each and every day…

Pretty sure the Father wanted us to know about it seeing that he commanded Moroni to give us this message: “the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you;” – See verse 24 below

Amen and AMEN to Kimball!!! Thank you, thank you. We need to be aware of the evils encroaching on our liberties, and on our families, and we CAN fight back while having the light of Christ, being positive, loving and happy people. We CANNOT put on blinders and think ‘all is well in Zion’. We are in this world to face and fight these evils and ‘endure it well’. That to me, means living life with joy, to the fullest, while informing and strengthening our loved ones and our country against those that seek for power over men.

I personally have a great deal of respect for Glen Beck. He and his family are ridiculed and persecuted for what he is standing for, he is bringing many secret combinations to light, and I don’t think his paycheck is what drives him. His family is precious to him and he would not be putting them thru this persecution with him (he has to have bodyguards for him and his family) if it was not for the sake of truth and warning his neighbor, and his country. If you watch anything, you really should watch some of his shows before you mold an opinion.

I appreciate your positive approach to life, and I think that is key for really living on this earth, but please take to heart what Kimball said. We have been sent here to fight against evil and stand for truth and righteousness, and sometimes that can seem scary, but then we build up our faith.

Thanks Jordyn and Kimball. Kimball is right on. Everyone is right on. there is a time to be positive. Positive is NOT turning a blind eye to the truth. Glen Beck does what he does and does it well. We all have a role to play in the battle against evil. Keep up the great work!

The time is coming and very near when each one of us will and MUST choose what side we will be on. We already know whose team is going to win. Are we strong enough and faithful enough to do our part NOW to be part of that team or will we wait for others to do the work.

I love it, Setema. I can’t tell you how much better my life is after giving up watching the news. A few years back I used to watch a lot of news programs, mostly on cable. But one blessing of not having cable is having less distractions. It’s time to get focused and live on purpose.

Some people will tell me, “you’re not informed,” because I don’t watch news or read the newspaper. My take on that is “how have you changed the things that you read about in the paper?” Most people can’t change the things talked about in the news. If you’re a politician, you better be up on the news, but for the rest of us, it’s distracting you from your real work.
