Does your life suck?

This post is about OBSTACLES … seen and unseen and how to take serious action towards overcoming it.

So what’s your story? What is it that is holding you back from real success and real prosperity?

Why haven’t you done it yet? Why don’t you have the money you want? What’s stopping you?

What story is running through your mind right now? Tell me below and let’s figure it out together.

It’s no surprise that the MOST SUCCESSFUL entrepreneurs, parents, spouses, employees, human beings today have faced some of the BIGGEST OBSTACLES.

The ONLY difference between those who succeed and those who do not…Is that those who succeeded found a way to overcome the obstacle…around it, through it, over it, under it, blow it up etc. Those who do not succeed get scared by the obstacle and get overwhelmed and quit.

But in order to overcome the obstacle and step on it…you must recognize it. So tell me below what your obstacle is and let’s help each other out. Don’t be scared…

I can hear it now…”I don’t want anyone to know that I have no money” or “I don’t want to put myself out there and be vulnerable” or “What if others make fun of me?”

Stop being a wussy and stop letting your fear get the best of you. Take action now by communicating …

To Your Overcoming,

Setema

I’ve beenreading your blog for some time and see some of your offers.

My biggest hangup is how can I tell if someone with an offer that sounds almost too good to be true is telling the truth?

I’m so sick of getting ripped of and lied to online I just dont know how to trust.

    Thanks for your time.

    Hey Setema,

My biggest challenge right now is vulnerability. I don’t want to show any weaknesses, and am afraid of judgments from others. Logically, I know that I shouldn’t care, but I do. I’m just starting my blog, so it’d be great to get over these fears now so I don’t have them holding me back.

    Jesse-how will you ever know.
    1) Social proof-testimonials-but even this isn’t full proof anymore. They could be lying about this.
    2) That instinct inside of you…that gut feeling…
    3) Take action and try it. That is really it. Most programs have a 30 day money-back guarantee so if the intention is that the program is going to make you rich without effort and action on your part…don’t waste your time. If your intention is that you’re going to work the program…then try it. IF it’s not everything you thought…simply get your money back and move on.

People who are action takers will get their money back. I’ve done this with a couple products. I got it, worked it hard, tried it, read it and realized it was garbage. So I requested my money back.

    That simple.

Now take 100% responsibility for your life and go and create it. Thanks Jesse.

Great concern Jon. It’s something ALL HUMANS have. We all have it. I’ve had. it. Tony Robbins has it. Tom Brady has it. Oprah Winfrey has had it. You overcome those completely…usually never. It’s always there. So you deal with it by acting in the face of it. Doing it. Simply taking that step and saying…”if people mock me then what?” Once you tell the full story out and what the real consequences are going to be…you realize the story you were telling yourself was a lot bigger and worse than it really was or is or going to be or never would be.

You only learn to do by DOING. Fear kills because it STOPS PEOPLE FROM DOING and if you never jump in the water to learn how to swim…you’ll never learn how to swim. Once you get some water up your nose, float on your back and realize, everyone who has ever learned how to swim, write a blog, do a video etc. has gone through this. The difference between the successful and the unsuccessful is the successful kept going…the unsuccessful people let the fear STOP THEM.

Keep writing. Forget about those fear demons that will ALWAYS BE THERE…they always will. You just keep acting and you’ll realize the people who criticize play a role in your life. They give you good feedback and you get better.

Everyone has coaches that give them feedback. I look at feedback as coaching. I never let it stop me from taking action.

You only learn to do by DOING…not philosophizing, talking, thinking, waiting…keep “doing” and you’ll see a dramatic difference in your life.

Be vulnerable…it’s the only way to really grow. and Growth equals success.

Thanks for your feedback Setema. I like what you said about doing things in spite of fear. That hit home for me. Even if it isn’t perfect, I should still share what I’ve learned with others. It could be very valuable to them.

I’m going to keep writing, and keep sharing with others to build up my business.

    Setema,

I have just recently discovered your website. I found this post and while I am unsure of a response, I thought I would take a shot.

My obstacles are either fear of failure, or fear of success. I am unsure which it is. I have turned into a habitual quitter. I start down a well thought out and planned path, I start to pick up some steam and actually see some success, and then I quit.

Somehow I am always talking myself out of or justifying this terrible habit. I am nowhere in my life because of it. I would value your thoughts to break through this pattern of failure.
