I coach people to get the things that they truly want and get rid of the things they don’t want. Sometimes that requires a reminder that they have no one to blame but themselves when they are viewing their results.
When results don’t go the way you want them to, it’s easy to play the victim by blaming others for your lack of responsibility, when the reality is:
IT’S ALL ON YOU!
We try to shift the responsibility onto other people, when WE are the one’s responsible.
Here’s the reality: You CHOSE them!
When dealing with people you hired that you don’t think are performing the way you expected them to, take responsibility for the actions you did of hiring them in the first place.
This is the reality:
I am the core cause and reason for where I’m at right now, and so are you, my friend.
Victims shift responsibility. If you aren’t making money, you haven’t figured out how to market and lead your company. You haven’t figured out how to lead yourself.
It’s all on you.
That’s a positive and negative thing.
Get off your ass and quit blaming others for your results.
You are responsible for what and who you choose to get the job done. Get clear and then move forward.
Take responsibility.
Quit wishing for magical things to happen because it’s all about doing the work.
YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF YOUR LIFE!
Ask yourself:
* Where have I tried to shift the responsibility onto other people?
* Who am I blaming for my results?
* Who is responsible for my life? ME!!!
