Growing up in the 90s, I will forever be a fan of the Utah Jazz because of Stockton and Malone. Last night, I watched my boy Kobe Bryant (I’ll have a whole episode about him soon) score big-time on the Jazz, and some criticized his relentless pursuit towards victory as too intense, but I recognized something else entirely.

The Black Mamba had a “me vs the world” mentality about embracing his Dark Side as termed by Tim Grover.

Look, everyone has a dark side to them, so don’t be close-minded on this.

When shit goes sideways, it’s the dark side of you that gets things done. If we’re threatened, it’s not Mr Nice Guy that solves issues.

But don’t confuse “dark” with “evil;” it’s about learning how to use the passion behind this Dark Warrior  to help you get what you want, a concept that Garrett J White from Wake Up Warrior described.

There is a Dark Warrior inside of you that needs to be let out.

This is the person that knows how to execute and play bigger than ever because the Dark Warrior doesn’t tolerate weak behavior. Nice guys don’t execute greatness and is preventing you from getting the life that you truly want.

If your business is suffering, it’s because:

  1. You’re not clear and committed
  2. You’re not competent in your skills
  3. You’re being too soft by not letting the Dark Warrior out

Greatness comes when we let the Dark Warrior out. Debbie Ford‘s Dark Side of the Light Chasers helps you learn how to tap into this side of you.

A Dark Warrior doesn’t just sit around and wait for results to occur around him; the Dark Warrior executes by controlling this fire and rage that we all have inside of us by transferring it into production and action.

Ask yourself:

* What is my Dark Warrior?

* How can I let it out so that it serves me in executing?

* What can I do today to allow the Dark Warrior to come out?

When you are able to embrace your Dark Warrior, you will be able to unleash a greater power than you will ever know that will help you get the ultimate results.
