I recently reread some of Steven Pressfield‘s books, like The War of Art and The Warrior Ethos. In each of them, there’s a theme of resistance that is to be expected any time we prepare for something big.

Kokoro 45 is the juggernaut that I am finding opposition in right now in my life, and right away I felt inadequate, meeting stories that I can’t do it.

I’m also going to launch another program called The Movement, meant to go global.

When you strive to become MORE, resistance rears its ugly head. When you DECLARE that you are going to contribute more to society, resistance is there.

The bells of hell go crazy when you choose to expand and grow.

Resistance doesn’t just want to wound or maim you, it wants to DESTROY you. That’s its job.

So can we avoid it?

No.

There is opposition in all things. I don’t know why resistance wages war against things that we want to do to make ourselves better, but no matter how much resistance we have, if we continue to push forward, every single day, we will be able to succeed, growing stronger than ever before.

We are meant to live the greatest lives possible, but we won’t be able to do that without resistance.

It will never go away.

Get clear about what you want and your big purpose, and that commitment will help you see the trials through.

You’ve got to be so full of yourself, so clueless that you start doing

The worst thing you can do is stop. Stubbornness is beautiful because it makes you sink your teeth into resistance.

It will rattle your faith, make you want to play small, and will always be the enemy.

Ask yourself:

* Where have I been meeting resistance in my life?

* Am I clear about what I want, even if resistance is trying to convince me to stop?

* What can I do today to show resistance towards resistance in order to succeed?

Resistance is the enemy, telling you can’t, but on the other side of it is that you CAN accomplish the outcomes, no matter how lofty they are, . You can do it.
