I LOVE talking with people, having open, real conversations.

I was speaking with a man today, and he admitted that he WANTS to change, but he worries about reverting back to his old ways a year from now.

I asked him, “Are you OK with that?”

No.

But if we don’t do our part, there are natural consequences when we continue to stay disconnected and not do our part. It creates a cascading effect into all of the other areas of life when you don’t have a real intent to achieve greatness.

There’s a pattern that one thing effects the other areas, and you become a one dimensional douchebag.

What would it take to alter your life?

How intense does the pain need to be for you to finally make the change?

I didn’t like that at this time last year, I was a fat slob. I hated it, but it took pain to get out of that state and make a change.

There’s a cost I had to pay.

This cost affects all areas of my life until I do something different.

We see too many lives failing because so many are operating at 30-40%, ok with mediocrity.

Parents, wake up and be an example.

Start taking extreme ownership and responsibility before something drastic happens in order to wake you up and make a change.

Don’t wait for something crazy, just do the work. NOW.

Stop waiting.

Ask yourself:

* What is the cost of holding myself back?

* What would it take to finally make a change in my life?

* What is something I can do today to avoid the extreme consequences?

There is an enormous cost at living a life at 30-40% instead of going all in. What’s the cost of remaining in this one dimensional life?
