This post is about how to become wealthy and why most people are not.
Lie #1-”If I work hard I’ll be rich.”
That’s a lie. Does hard work really create financial wealth? The answer…NO.
You and I both know people who work their guts out, who work two and sometimes three jobs and they are still not wealthy. Laborers, employees, self-employed entrepreneurs and even business owners work hard. I believe in hard work.
But why is there such a discrepancy between the paychecks of those who work and those who work hard and those who are rich? Why is only 1% of people at age 65 extremely wealthy while the rest are not?
Hard work is part of the equation but it’s NOT the real equation if you want financial wealth.
Many times those who are wealthy simply chose a different vehicle…and by vehicle I mean the career, or the job or the business.
One person chooses telemarketing where although the checks can be big, there is no leverage hence no real wealth. Time is still traded for dollars. Until you learn how to LEVERAGE other people, other resources, networks and systems, you will NEVER become financially rich.
Think CEO…they leverage a whole organization and network of people.
Think Network Marketing or Sales…when you have 100 or 1000 people in your network working together…now you’re talking massive wealth.
What vehicle are you in today?
Will it get you to the life you truly want?
For most people, the answer is no. It will never get them there. [...]

Who else wants to be wealthy, successful and especially HAPPY?
This post was inspired by Tiffany Walke Peterson. Thanks Tiff.
One of the fastest ways to creating real wealth and success is to put yourself into a state of JOY…in other words be choose to be HAPPY.
It’s hard to be wealthy when you are constantly depressed and angry.
It’s easier to create wealth, be more productive and live life at your pace when you feel good about yourself and what you are doing…
So simple right?
Simple is POWERFUL. “Simplicity is ultimate sophistication.”
Try making a difference in the lives of others…try creating powerful content…try creating value…try being highly productive when you are mad, angry, depressed, frustrated and discouraged…doesn’t work very well at all.
Change the perspective, get into JOY, find the good, stay happy and express gratitude, be believing, be faithful, TRUST and your chance to be productive, to create wealth, to receive inspiration and to be in a state of receiving INCREASES GREATLY. [...]

Revolution is an intense and dense word. There is a lot of emotion and imagery when the word is used.
It typically refers to the overthrow of a tyrant or regime and a movement to alter social conditions especially within government, money and social expectations.
From bloody revolutions and civil wars we have people who have died for the cause of freedom and prosperity.
However I am NOT talking about those types of revolution because frankly they usually don’t last.
The ONLY time a bloody revolution lasts is when the revolution takes place from within.
The Real Ongoing Revolution is taking place right now in the minds and hearts of millions of people.
Many people are waking blindly throughout life accepting things are they are and as they happen to them. These people walk blindly and nonchalantly, even unconscious of the REAL WORLD around them. [...]

“It Takes Money To Make Money” is a Big Lie…So How Do You Build 6 and 7 Figure Businesses with No Financial Capital? Here’s How…
Posted on15. Jun, 2010 by Setema Gali.
I’m sure you’ve heard the phrase “It Takes Money To Make Money.”
Do you Believe it? If you do you are WRONG and well, if you believe it then it’s true for you and that’s one of the biggest reasons you are most likely broke and not succeeding in your business.
Watch the “Action Movie” of Kimball and I discussing how we applied what I call my “4 Capitals” to make $5,000 up front and set ourselves up to make more than $100,000 in residual income over the coming months.
Our beliefs, paradigms, assumptions, opinions-(from here on our I’ll refer to it as the paradigm or belief system) is the MAP by which we are living.
If the belief is that “It takes money to make money” then the action or behavior says “I must have money to make money.” Ironically most people do not have 6 and 7 figures laying around in their couch cushions or the ashtrays of their car. Which leads people to make the excuse-”Well, if only I had money then I could make money.” or “If only I had more resources then I could go after my dreams, start the business etc.” [...]

Have you ever wondered why people travel hours and hours to go to events?
Whether a network marketing event, a seminar, a mastermind group, a forum or a marketing event?
From Tony Robbins, Frank Kern, T. Harv Ecker, Yanik Silver, Kimball Roundy, Mike Dillard or Les Brown there are hundreds of workshops, events, symposiums and seminars going on every single day.
In fact, I attended two workshops just last week.
People pay anywhere form $15 to $10k to attend an event. I’ve personally spent nearly $100k in personal education in the past five years. From week long seminars, 3 day weekend events and powerful mastermind groups…it’s been worth every penny.
So what’s the skinny? I’m going let you in on a little known secret that very wealthy people have. In fact, healthy, spiritual and very happy people know this secret. This is it…
Awww, disappointed? I’m sorry for letting you down. But that’s it.
If you don’t ever go to live events, whether they be symposiums, seminars, workshops or conferences…you’re missing out BIG TIME and sabotaging your own business. Here’s what I mean.
Until you meet someone face to face and shake their hand…you are just another email, another unknown person on the other side of the phone or world who wants something from them. [...]

Prosperity and wealth do NOT start in the material world.
Poor people, people with the Destroyer mindset always believe and think that they are poor until they have ‘things’.
Rich people, people with the Creator and Abundance mentality know that prosperity and wealth always starts in the mind and then manifests itself in the physical world.
How do I Become Wealthier and How do I Prosper?
If you wanted to be a great baseball player would you go and learn from a football player? Obviously you wouldn’t.
So if you want to learn how to be rich, model your life after rich people. If your paradigm is such that rich people are greedy or selfish or whatever other fallacies that you have, you’ll need to start with your beliefs and change those.
I highly recommend T. Harv Ecker’s “Secrets of the Millionaire Mind”. There are numerous books out there that will teach you how to switch your ‘thinking’.
Let’s move on.
Rich people believe money is important therefore they do things that allow them to make money. They’re blueprint is set for wealth, not poverty. Creators understand that wealth and prosperity come as a result of creating value, blessing other people and serving effectively in the world.
I’ve heard too many people say “It’s not about the money” or “I don’t have to be rich” or “Rich people are just greedy” or “All he thinks about is money.” Clearly these people are BROKE!
Change your paradigm, your beliefs about money and you will change your life when it comes to money.
If you want more money, I would start first with your mindset. If your mindset is wrong, you’ll always lose no matter how much money you have.
Again, what thoughts do you have right now about this
The purpose of business today is to solve people’s problems at a profit. It is to create value for other people.
When people ask me “How do I make more money?” I usually tell them to forget about making money and start creating value for others. Dollars always follow value.
When you solve problems for other people, you can get mightily rich. Which you bring pleasure to people (value) you can become very rich IF you have learned how to operate and be part of a business.
Law of Awareness States that you can only change something when you are aware of it.
The best way is to learn from people who are already rich, successful, humble, happy etc. It’s really simple. If you already knew how to do it you’d be doing it already. People spend thousands and tens of thousands of dollars on getting their education. Then when they graduate and leave school they never read a book again or they go to a job and make $50k a year and then retire when they get older and wonder why they never made ‘enough’ money to do all the things they really wanted to do.
Before all the technology and formal education that we have today our country followed a model that really worked. If you wanted to become a blacksmith you didn’t go and sit in classroom for four years to learn how to do it. You found an expert or professional blacksmith who was DOING IT and you became his apprentice. Then you learned how to become a blacksmith by. . . that’s right, by doing.
“We learn to do by doing.”
I’ve spent more money on books, programs, seminars, education DVD’s, CD’s, audios in the last 3 years than I did my whole life. I learn from the experts.
I do what they ask me to do. I take action. I speak reality statements. I meditate and ponder. I write my goals down, commit to them, make a plan and move forward with necessary course corrections.
The more you learn about money, what it is, how to earn more, why we have it, the more you put yourself in position to have dollars follow.
What are you waiting for? Change your life today! Life is too short to be in the clutches of poverty and scarcity.
Until you change your money blueprint, prosperity will always be just around the corner and you’ll never get there.
Make the change today.
Someday is TODAY or its never. Someday is TODAY or its never!
Whatever is holding you back from really living, get rid of it and move forward. It is up to you and whether you believe that or not, it doesn’t matter.
Life will pay you exactly what you put into it and believe it to be.
Share this forward with your friends and followers.
I’d love to hear what your thoughts about how you overcome challenging and difficult times.

This is part 3 in a series entitled “Making $309k A Year and Still Broke”
Enjoy Part III…
So how do you change your ingrained beliefs and actually start making and keeping money?
What governs money? What laws and principles are money dependent on? I’ll tell you.
Dollars follow _________.
It’s all begins your mind. Your paradigm (opinions, beliefs, assumptions) will determine your financial wealth. T. Harv Ecker calls it your Money Blueprint.
If your Paradigm or Blueprint is of scarcity, lack, doubt and set at a low level, you’re doomed to financial poverty. . . NO MATTER WHAT!
Win the lottery and have a paradigm of scarcity, lack and doubt…you’ll lose it all and be worse off.
If your Money Blueprint is based on lies, myth and fear….money becomes a curse rather than a blessing and you become worse off with the more money.
If you think and believe money is not important…. well do you think you’ll ever do the necessary actions to receive more if it’s NOT important to you?
However, if your Paradigm or Blueprint is set to that of abundance, wealth, value creation and problem solving, you have an opportunity to be financially wealthy… if you take action and course correct properly as you move forward in your journey.
Remember, money is a byproduct, an effect, an end result. It is the result of creating value and then adding and distributing that value to the world. That value can be something people really want or can be solutions to major problems people have.
Everything we have today is the result of someone (what I call a CREATOR) creating value and/or solving problems.
The cell phone I use everyday is the result of someones idea and attempt to solve a problem. The problem was not being able to talk to friends, family and business associates unless I had money for a pay phone or was on or near a land line.
Now, I not only can talk to them, I can email, text, send pictures and keep my day planner and schedule, record voice memos and Google anything I want. I even have GPS on my phone. I traded my money for what I wanted and valued more than my money. . . it’s called a Blackberry.
In your job you are creating value for the company who is paying you. So if you want to make more money become more valuable to the company by increasing your knowledge, skills or what I call your HUMAN CAPITAL.
If you want to make a lot of money, learn what the rich do.
While poor people are looking for opportunities, rich people who I call Creators are looking for problems.
Where poor people look to avoid problems, Creators look to solve those problems.
Becoming the right type of person is what it is all about. If people focused on Creating Maximum Value for other people in all situations regardless of circumstance, what type of world would we have?
To be continued….

It’s funny when we think “If I just had more money then I’d be (fill in the blank. . ., happy, successful, without trials, comfortable, etc.). As I said in part 1, that is completely wrong.
Money is literally a RESULT. But more on that in part 3.
Where does one start in learning about money, how to make it and keep it?
You don’t start with hard work. You don’t start with finding a job. You don’t start with saving.
You start in your mind with your beliefs and how you view money.
What is the real key and underlying factor when it comes to making and keeping money?
Your beliefs about money and wealth are the key!
If you don’t think or believe (consciously or subconsciously) that money is important do you think you’ll ever have a lot?
If you think or believe (consciously or subconsciously) that having lots of money is NOT for you, do you think you’ll ever have a lot?
If you think or believe (consciously or subconsciously) that having lots of money is only for other people, will you ever do the things that allow you to have it?
If you think or believe (consciously or subconsciously) being rich is greedy, selfish and prideful, will you ever strive to make a lot and keep a lot?
If you think or believe (consciously or subconsciously) that being poor and broke is a sign of humility in God’s eyes do you think you’ll ever be rich?
The answers are obvious.
Clearly as human beings we are hard wired for happiness meaning we will always do things that fall in line with our beliefs to help us find happiness and avoid pain.
If you believe going to church is right then you go. If you believe drinking alcohol is not right then you don’t drink.
You also spend your time, energy and attention with that which is important to you. If your family is important to you you spend time with them. If your relationship with someone is important to you you invest time and energy with that persons. If being entertained is more important than work, obviously you spend time being entertained rather than creating value for other people.
If we subcsonsciously and consciously believe money is bad or we shouldn’t have it or that it is NOT for us, WHAT MAKES YOU THINK YOU’LL ACTUALLY DO THINGS TO GET MORE OF IT? We won’t. And if we somehow make a lot of it, we’ll find a way to get rid of it because it doesn’t align with our subconscious and conscious beliefs.
Your beliefs are crucial in obtaining wealth. Even if you make a lot of (six, seven and eight figures) money and still have ridiculous and false beliefs about money you’ll find a way to get rid of it or lose it all.
Usually people who master the beliefs and utilize useful beliefs about wealth and money have an abundance of it because they understand exactly what it is, how to get it, how to keep it, how to utilize it properly and why.
Are your beliefs about money and wealth helping you to be financially free or causing you to live a financially poor life?
Does God require a poor people? Is it necessary to be poor to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven?
So how do you change your ingrained beliefs and actually start making and keeping money?
Stay tuned. . .
