Part 2 of 3 in the series: What is the Greatest Vehicle for Wealth?

I’ve seen all the failures of network marketing. I’ve been to the Tuesday night meetings. I’ve sat in the restaurant while circles were drawn on napkins. I’ve been hounded by people on the phone, at my front door, in the mall and throughout my whole life. On the other side…I’ve drawn circles on boards and comp plans on napkins and done 3 way calls. How is that possible?

Is Network Marketing a scam? Does it really work? Why do some succeed while most fail? Is there a better way to create wealth?

The ONLY way you’ll see what multi-million dollar network marketing earners see is to first and foremost suspend your disbelief. Are you open to the conversation we’re about to have or are you coming in with walls up and guns blaring? Are you coming in with non-attachment? By non-attachment I mean taking all your past experiences (failures, bad taste about networking, being hounded by friends and family) and placing them aside for this conversation.

The reason we are so jaded when it comes to MLM/Network Marketing is because we had an experience or multiple experiences in the past and we’ve attached a negative emotion and negative paradigm to it.

Are you willing to be open now?

You cannot see what they see if you keep your past perspective and your lens of seeing on your own eyes.

Why we often hear others say “It doesn’t work, I got burned and I’ll never do it again.”

Chances are that people who failed in network marketing didn’t understand it and had a pathetic plan to accomplish it. Perhaps their commitment level lacked but if they were 100% committed then it’s safe to say their tools and methodologies were pre-historic and ineffective.

We need to understand what Network Marketing really is so let’s dive in and open our eyes and explore this “myth” with awakened consciousness. [...]

Why would anyone want to start their own business? Maybe they attended a workshop or seminar and came home pumped up with visions of becoming wealthy while living their dreams.

The bottom line is that people start their own business to become wealthy. No one starts a business thinking I’m going to quit my job (which I hate and don’t enjoy doing) to go and do something that I hate and don’t enjoy doing. Yes it’s the naivety that can act as a double edge sword in any start up. The fact is that we start businesses to have more time and more money which we equate with freedom.

Isn’t it glamorous to be an “entrepreneur?’ At least that’s what the perception is today.

When people ask you “what do you do for a living” and your response is “I’m an entrepreneur” or “I run my own business” it can be an ego booster, an adrenaline high.

But here is the warning and the truth most gurus won’t tell you: Put your Superman Suit or Wonder Woman outfit on because you’re going to need it.
